INSURANCE COVERAGE:
Insurance coverage may be possible if you are covered for Registered Psychotherapists. You will be responsible for the fees for services rendered regardless of your insurance company’s ability to pay.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE:
Both individual and couples work could take less or more depending on your histories and circumstances and no timeline is set in stone.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
I require a 24 hour advance notice or the full or mutually agreed upon fee will apply.
ADVANTAGES TO ONLINE THERAPY
No travel time or parking issues
Private and confidential
Geographically flexible only requiring internet connection
HOW IT WORKS:
I email you a link to secure video conferencing site. You click on the link and will be taken to the site into a private space for our session.
ONLINE FOR COUPLES
I have found this to be very helpful due to busy life/work schedules. You can sit beside each other in front of any screen, even your phone.
CONFIDENTIALITY:
Therapy constitutes a professional relationship and is bound by client-therapist privilege. All efforts are made to protect the client and avoid undue invasion of privacy. All information obtained or disclosed in therapy is strictly confidential and will not be revealed to any other persons without the client’s authorized consent or the content obtained by the client’s legal representative except in those unusual circumstances in which not doing so would result in clear danger to the client or to others, or unless mandated by a court order or law. A psychotherapist is mandated by law to report sexual abuse and neglect of children by the client(s),as well as sexual abuse of the client by a health practitioner to the authorities.
